MEET OUR COACHES

For our players to fully express themselves and develop, we must provide the best coaches possible to guide the players on their individual journeys. Therefore, all our coaches must not only be able to demonstrate and teach technique, but they must also share the Foro Skills philosophy and passion.  Our staff features coaches that currently play for the Semi-Professional team Foro SC, and those who have had a background of playing in high level soccer.

MICHEL GARBINI

Coach & Consultant

Hailing from Vitoria, Brazil, Michel Garbini's soccer odyssey traverses continents, leaving an indelible mark across Brazil, Europe, and the USA. His journey includes representing Brazil U23 and prominent clubs such as Atletico Mineiro, Standard Liege, Aris FC, and FC Dallas, where his versatility shone as a midfielder. Particularly noteworthy are his three seasons at FC Dallas (2013-2016), where he played a pivotal role, featuring in 74 matches, netting 12 goals, and delivering 17 assists from his role as a defensive midfielder. Michel's impact extended to the NASL with Rayo OKC and Miami FC, before embracing the challenges of MASL with the Dallas Sidekicks.

BAILEY SPARKS

Coach & Manager

Bailey Sparks, an SMU Men's Soccer player and coach for Foro SC from Plano, Texas, has made his mark on Dallas soccer history. With over a decade of dedication, he honed his skills at Solar SC and competed at the highest levels, including playing in the USL Championship with Sporting Kansas City. His extensive soccer knowledge and experience have fueled his passion for mentoring the next generation of players. Among his many accolades, Bailey was named the 2023 AAC Midfielder of the Year, earned 2nd Team All-American honors, and had the privilege of playing for the U.S. U-17 National Team.

GONZALO 
SANTA MARTINEZ

GK Coach

Born in Yecla, Spain. Gonzalo Santa currently goalkeeper for the professional indoor team, Dallas Sidekicks, MASL. Gonzalo has played in important academies in Spain such as Albacete balompié, Real Murcia and Valencia CF, and selected for the U16 team of the state of Castilla La Mancha in the national championship. He has also played in the Second Division at Huracán Valencia CF and Yeclano Deportivo. In the United States, he has played for the Houston Regals, NPSL; Laredo Heats, NPSL; Texas United, USL2. As a coach, he has experience at universities such as Davis & Elkins, Div 2 NCAA, reaching a national ranking among the best 8 in the country. He has also worked as a coach in multiple academies in Spain and the United States.

NIGEL
KATAWA

Coach

Nigel Katawa's soccer odyssey began in 2000, marked by his representation in Zimbabwe's under 13 and under 14 national teams. His career blossomed with back-to-back Harare Province junior league championships in 2015 and 2016, accentuated by the 2017 Hammer and Tongues top goal scorer award. In 2019, he left an imprint at Dynamos FC with 33 games, 5 goals, and 8 assists, while also representing Zimbabwe's under 21 national team. The international arena beckoned as Nigel joined Liwa FC in the United Arab Emirates in 2020, amassing 7 goals and 16 assists.
